Yesterday, I presented my work on applying computational fluid dynamics to gastric surgery at the Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2023 in Chicago, Illinois.
Finally had a chance to meet some collaborators in person: Dr. Pankaj Jay Pasricha, Alex Menys & his Motilent team. Also met others working at the cutting edge of computational modeling of GI physiology: Greg O’Grady, Sam Simmonds. And many other surgeons and researchers who had answers to some of my burning questions about modeling stomach disorders and prescribing surgery.
